Richard "Dick" Markowski

NASHUA- Richard ‘Rick’ ‘Dick” F. Markowski, 69, died peacefully on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He is the beloved husband of Anne (Moriarty) Markowski with whom he shared 40 years of marriage.

Dick was born in Boston, MA on September 2, 1949 and is the son of Roberta M. (Dzengeleski) Markowski of Epping, NH and the late Edwin P. Markowski.

For over 35 years, he was employed by BAE as an electrical/microwave engineer until his retirement in 2017.

Dick was an avid collector of many things including, baseball cards, coins, stamps and trains. He always enjoyed trips and time spent at Half Moon Lake in Alton and Barnstead with his family where generations have grown up. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his loving family especially his grandchildren who were his world.

In addition to his wife, Anne and his mother, Roberta, Dick is survived by his two children, Erin Mannarino and her husband Matt of Wilton and David M. Markowski of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; his four grandchildren, Mercedes, Marcas, Chris, and Brooklyn Mannarino. He is also survived by his four siblings, Edwin Markowski and his wife Sandy of Maine, Cindy Sprando and her husband Bob of Maryland, Philip Markowski of New Hampshire, and Christine Panis and her husband Gene of North Carolina; and many nieces, nephews, great- nieces and nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.

Dick’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and doctors at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center for their care and comfort provided to Richard and his family during his time there.

Relatives and friends are invited to Dick’s visitation on SATURDAY, August 3rd from 10 AM until 12 Noon at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. A short prayer service will be said at 11:30 AM in the Funeral Home. Burial will take place at the convenience of his family.
