Robert “Bob” Thomas Carlson, 76, passed away peacefully at his home in Nashua, NH. He was the beloved husband of Judith (Sidor) Carlson whom he shared 56 years of marriage with.
Bob was born on May 12, 1948 in Lynn, MA and was the son of the late Elmer and Mary (Benham) Carlson.
Robert worked as a Grocery Manager for Stop & Shop for 48 years until his retirement.
In his free time, Bob enjoyed fishing in both salt and fresh bodies of water. He was an avid sports fan, especially for the Red Sox and the Patriots. Bob was proud of the records he broke in high school at the Lynn Classical while he was captain of his track team. He was also a marathon runner in the Boston and New York City Marathons.
Robert is survived by his wife, Judith (Sidor) Carlson; his five children, Stephen (Carlson) Garafolo and his husband Robert, Michelle (Carlson) Spurling, Lisa Jussaume and her husband Steven, Thomas Carlson and his wife Karyn, and Kevin Carlson; his six grandchildren; his four siblings, Cynthia Fountain, Kathy Cormier, Brian Carlson, and Dianne Psomos and her husband John; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Robert was predeceased by his two grandchildren, Angelina and Isabella; as well as his brother, Dennis Carlson.
Services were held privately. His interment was held in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua. Arrangements entrusted to the care of ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua.
