Robert Wright

Robert Joseph Wright of Nashua NH born on September 3, 1928 died peacefully at his home on Thursday August 13th, 2020. He is the beloved husband of Claire Agnes (Lachance) Wright with whom he shared 69 years of marriage.

Robert was educated in local parochial schools and graduated from Lowell Tech after studying machine, tool and die fabrication. He worked for International Paper Box Machine Company, Sprague Electric, and retired from Nashua Corporation. In the 60’s, he worked as a volunteer leader with the Nashua Junior Achievement program and enjoyed working with the industrious youth. He was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Parish.

Robert was meticulous in his gardening, woodworking, wood finishing and painting. Throughout his life, he helped family and friends with their projects. He loved learning and enjoyed sharing that love of learning with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He loved listening to music and spending time with his family. He was an avid follower of the Red Sox and Patriots. He and his wife enjoyed vacationing in Ft Myers Florida.

In addition to his wife Claire, he is survived by his five children Michael Wright and his wife Kathryn of Greenville SC , Kathryn Belanger and her husband David of Jacksonville FL, Sandra Frost of Nashua NH, Judith Beem and her husband Milton of Jaffrey NH and Thomas Wright and his wife Elizabeth of Merrimack NH: his eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren: as well as his brother Ralph Wright and his wife Carolyn of Nashua NH: His brother in law Donald Lachance and his wife Lorraine of Nashua NH: His sister in laws Jeanine Wright of Nashua NH and Sylviane Wright of Nashua NH: as well as many nieces and nephews.

Robert was predeceased by his brothers Harry Wright and David Wright
