Roberta (Schneider) Converse

Roberta (Schneider) Converse, passed away peacefully at her home on February 9, 2025. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts on May 4,1944, and was the daughter of the late Louis and Gladys (Goldberg) Schneider.

Roberta worked as a Bookkeeper at Burr Brothers Boat Yard until her retirement.

In her leisure time, she enjoyed quilting, reading or watching a good movie. Roberta also loved spending time outdoors, boating and fishing. She was a connoisseur of sushi and enjoyed a variety of her favorite food. But above all else, Roberta cherished the time spent with her family.

Roberta is survived by her two sons; Gregory Weiner and his wife Sheri of Merrimack, NH, and Jeffrey Weiner and his wife Nicole of Lowell, MA, a stepson; Thomas Converse and his wife Cathy of Plainville, MA, four grandchildren; Alli, Brian, Nathan and Emily, her brother; David Schneider and his wife Barbara of Swampscott, MA, and her partner; Joel Nickerson of Nashua.

She is predeceased by her husband; Danforth Converse and her stepdaughter; Nancy Peters and her husband Bruce.

A Celebration of her life will be held privately.
