Roger Leveille Obituary


Nashua NH- Roger J. Leveille,  86, died peacefully Tuesday morning, March 3, 2020, at the Life Care Center of Merrimack Valley in Billerica, MA surrounded by his loving family. He is the beloved husband of Doris ‘Dot’ (Lussier) Leveille.

Roger was born in Nashua on January 2, 1934 and was the son of the late Frank and Yvonne Ida (Sylvain) Leveille.
Roger joined the Mason's Union in 1954 at the age of 20,  he moved on as a self employed Mason until he retired at the age of 65. Masonry was not only his profession, it was his passion. 

He continued doing the job he loved until the age of 75. He eagerly taught his sons the trade from when they were young. Today all 3 of his son's continue his masonry legacy.

In his free time he enjoyed taking out his boat, he was an avid saltwater and freshwater fisherman. Many tales of his excursions can be told by his close family and friends. Roger had a love for music, he was a fantastic dancer , from Greek dancing to the Polka, ballroom dancing which he most enjoyed with his wife Dot, and no matter where he was , he would never miss a dance to one of his favorites "Gloria" by Laura Branigan

Roger was incredibly proud of his children and their accomplishments, but his grandchildren were his joy. He could be seen rooting them on playing baseball and soccer and loved taking them fishing during their summer vacations. He was the worlds greatest Pepere and will be missed each and every day.

In addition to his wife Dot, he is survived by his 3 sons, Scott Leveille and his wife Jessica of Litchfield, Roger A. Leveille and his fiance Rose Velez of Manchester, and Roger F. Leveille and his wife Josee of Hudson; his daughter, Kimberly Neve of Merrimack; his eight grandchildren, Hallie, Colin, Joey, Annika, Savannah, Gabriela, Chelsea and Brittany,  as well as his two great-grandchildren, Mila and Mason. Roger is also survived by his sister-in-law Georgette Leveille of North Carolina.
He was predeceased by his son-in-law, Jason Neve, as well as his brothers, Robert, Maurice, and Raymond Leveille and his sister Pearl Poirier.

Relatives and friends are invited to Roger’s visitation on SUNDAY, March 8th from 2 until 6 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His Funeral Service will take place in the Funeral Home at 5:30 PM. Cremation will follow.
