Roland G. Michaud

Roland G. Michaud, 87, died peacefully on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack surrounded by his loving family.

He was the beloved husband of his first wife, the late Barbara (Carroll) Michaud, with whom he shared 43 years of marriage until her passing on June 26th 2001, and his second wife, the late Marion Irene (Tatro) Michaud, with whom he shared 22 years of marriage prior to her passing on July 18, 2024.

Roland was born in Nashua, New Hampshire on April 13, 1938, and was the son of the late George and Florence (Cardin) Michaud. He received his education in the Nashua School System.

For many years, he worked as a machinist and maintenance mechanic for Nashua Wood Product and more recently at Fimble Door until his retirement.

In his free time he enjoyed working outdoors in his yard, caring for his lawn, western movies, camping, and spending time with his famiy.

He is survived by his daughter, Tamye Caron of Hudson; his two sons, Kevin Michaud of Hudson and Brian Michaud of Nashua; his two step-daughters, Gail McGillvary and her husband Dan of Hudson and Sandra Bartlett and her husband AJ of Whitingham, VT and his step-son, Floyd Smith and his spouse Sara Adkins of Rock Falls, WI, his three grandchildren, Adam Caron, Ryan Caron, and Jon Michaud, eight step-grandchildren, eighteen step-great-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by 3 of his siblings Russell, Royal, and Estelle.

Relatives and friends are invited to Roland and Marion’s graveside service and interment on Friday, June 13th at 10:00AM at St. Louis Cemetery, 752 W Hollis Street, Nashua. Kindly meet at the cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Rochette Funeral Home.
