Rolande A. “Rosie” Alain, 92, died peacefully Friday, May 20, 2022, at the Hunt Community surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Leonard W. Alain with whom she shared 60 years of marriage.

In her free time, Rosie enjoyed knitting especially knitting pieces for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an avid gardener; roses were her specialty. She was in charge of the upkeep on the rose bushes at The Hunt where she resided. Rosie traveled to many destinations with her late husband from across the United States, Europe, and France. She loved to play dominos, “Mexican Train” as well as making puzzles. Her handmade puzzles would be donated to the Nashua Senior Center or to the Grey Nuns. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her family, most importantly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were the light of her life.

She is survived by her daughter, Anita Morris and her husband Wayne of Fort Myers, FL, her two grandchildren Brenna Hendrick and her husband Ian of Grantham, NH and Victoria Young and her husband Justin of Greenville, NC. She is also survived by her three great-grandchildren, Estelle Hendrick, and Kennedy and Bella Young; her three siblings, Angele “Angie” Bechard of Nashua, Amedee “Medy” Desmarais of Florida, and Leona “Tootsie” Morin and her husband Jerry of Nashua; as well as several nieces and nephews.
