Ronald E. Boellaard Van Tuyl, AGE, died peacefully, Sunday evening, October 4, 2020, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Ronald is the beloved husband of Sylvia (Baumeister) Boellaard Van Tuyl with whom he shared 61 years of marriage.
Ronald was born in Banjarmasin, Indonesia on August 17, 1937 and was the son of the late Emile and Etty (Pereira) Boellaard Van Tuyl. He proudly served in the Dutch Navy in his younger years.
He and his family immigrated to the United States in 1960 where Ronald worked at various places. Earlier in his career he worked in the shoe industry but most recently he was employed as an inspector for Prestek.
In his free time, Ronald was always extremely athletic, practicing karate and weight lifting. He was an avid fisherman and a true animal lover. He enjoyed his daily social meetings with friends at either of their favorite restaurants, Killarneys Irish Pub or Valentinos Restaurant. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his family.
In addition to his wife, Sylvia, he is survived by his daughter Sandra Domingues and her husband Cesar - of Ashburn, VA; his two grandchildren, Nicholas Domingues and his wife Kristy of University Park, MD and Nathan Domingues and his significant other Devan Reynolds of Hooksett, NH. He is also survived by
his great-grandson, Jackie Domingues; his special daughter, Esther Becker of Nashua; his nieces, Anetta and Amy; and several nephews and cousins.
Due to current public health and safety concerns, funeral services for Ronald will be limited to immediate family members and held privately. Arrangements entrusted to the care of ROCHETTEFUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ronald's name to St . Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the Nashua Humane Society, 24 Ferry Road , Nashua, NH 03064.
