Ronald J. Roy

Ronald J. Roy, 88, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Langdon Place in Nashua. He was born on September 30, 1934, in Nashua to the late Emile Roy and Andrea (Lozeau) Roy.

Ronald was a loving and devoted husband to Leona (Gallant) Roy, with whom he shared 38 years of marriage. Together with Leona, Ronald created a lifetime of cherished memories.

Throughout his professional life, Ronald was employed as a Production Manager at Fimble Door, dedicating several decades of hard work until his well-deserved retirement.

In his free time, Ronald enjoyed hosting many parties for friends and family. He was quite the cook and loved perfecting his recipes in the kitchen.  Ronald's culinary delights brought joy to those around him. He also had a passion for travel and had the opportunity to explore various corners of the world. However, his most treasured moments were those spent with his family and close friends, sharing laughter and love.

Ronald was a beloved husband, father, and stepfather. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Claire (Levesque) Roy, his daughter Linda, his son Alan, and his stepson Douglas Abbott. Additionally, he was predeceased by his brother, Maurice Roy. The memories of their time together will forever be held close by those who knew and loved him.

In addition to his wife, Leona, Ronald is survived by several nieces and nephews, who will continue to carry his legacy of love and warmth.

Relatives and friends are invited to Ronald’s graveside service on MONDAY, August 14th at 1 PM in St. Louis Cemetery, 752 W Hollis Street, Nashua. The caring and professional arrangements have been entrusted to ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. 

During this difficult time, we extend our deepest condolences to Leona and the entire family, as well as to all those whose lives were touched by Ronald's warmth, kindness, and wonderful spirit. May he rest in eternal peace.
