Ronald “Ron” M. Desfosses, 79, died peacefully at his home on Friday, July 24, 2026. He is the beloved husband of Deborah L. (King) Desfosses with whom he shared 47 years together and 43 years married.

Ron was born in Nashua, New Hampshire on September 27, 1946 and was the son of the late Maurice and Carmelle (Hudon) Desfosses. He received his education in the Nashua School System and was a graduate of Nashua Senior High School. He continued his education and graduated from Rivier College with his bachelor's degree.

He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force with honor and distinction, faithfully carrying out his military service until receiving an honorable discharge in September of 1968. He took great pride in having served his nation, and his commitment to those values remained a lasting source of pride for both himself and his family.

Ron was a hardworking and dedicated businessman who proudly owned and operated Kozy Korner Variety alongside his beloved wife, Deborah, for 33 years. Together, they built more than a neighborhood store; they created a welcoming place where customers became friends and the community always felt at home. Ron took immense pride in serving others, and his strong work ethic, friendly demeanor, and commitment to those around him earned him the respect and admiration of all who knew him.

In his free time, Ron found great joy in the outdoors, taking exceptional pride in maintaining his lawn and ensuring it always looked its very best. He also enjoyed golfing alongside his beloved wife, Deborah, and cherished every opportunity to take a leisurely ride on his motorcycle, one of his greatest passions. Ron was an avid poker player, especially enjoying games at Club National, and was a proud member of the Elks for over 50 years. He will be remembered for his quick wit, infectious sense of humor, and ability to make those around him smile. Above all, Ron's greatest joy in life was the time he spent with his family, whom he loved deeply, especially his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Deborah, he is survived by his two children, Jeffrey Desfosses and his partner Ashley Hebert of Nashua, NH and Angela Desfosses and her partner Dennis Hickey of Franklin, NH; his stepson, Brian T. Adams and his wife Loudres of Greenville, SC; his step-daughter-in-law Barbara Adams of Fort Myers, FL. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, Dylan, Brianna, Meredith, and Anastasia, step-grandchildren, Matthew, Ryan, Chelsea, and Megan; several step great-grandchildren as well as great-grandchild on the way! He is survived by his sister, Diane Reynolds and her husband Charles of Nashua; his step-father-in-law, Stan Strzepek of Pepperell, MA; sister-in-law, Joan Blood of Pepperell, MA; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Sadly, in addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his step-son, Michael I. Adams and his sister Evelyn Desfosses.

Relatives and friends are invited to Ron’s visitation on MONDAY, August 3rd from 5 until 7 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His Funeral Mass will be held on TUESDAY, August 4th at 10 AM in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 W Hollis Street, Nashua. Kindly meet at church. Presentation of military honors will follow Mass.
