Rosalie Bradley died peacefully on Thursday August 31, 2023, in Concord, NH. She was the beloved wife of the late William “Bill” Bradley with whom she shared almost 60 years of marriage.
Rosalie was born in Bronx, New York on October 7, 1939 and was the daughter of Emilia (Carito) Pallone and Rosario Pallone. She went to St. Catherine’s Academy in Williamsbridge. Rosalie was a first generation college graduate from Mount St. Vincent College in Riverdale, where she began many of her lifelong friendships. After graduation in 1961, Rosalie and Bill were married and moved to Florida where he honorably served in the United States Air Force. They returned to the Bronx for a little while and settled in Deer Park in 1965 where they raised their family and eventually retired. They lived there until 2016 when they relocated to Hollis, NH.
Rosalie was very proud to be a homemaker for her family. She was famous for baking cookies for her children and their friends. She hosted many holidays and celebrations for her family, her parish and her friends. Her Catholic faith was paramount to her and she was a very active member of St. Matthew's RC Church in Dix Hills, NY for fifty years. She was involved in groups such as the Rosary Society, Couples’ Club, blood drives, Altar Boys, and a Senior’s Club.
Rosalie is survived by her three children, William M. Bradley of New York, Susan Holroyd of Brookline, NH and Stacy Brennan of New City, NY. Rosalie and Bill sent all three of their children to St. Anthony of Padua in East Northport, NY and to St. Anthony’s in Smithtown, Our Lady of Mercy in Syosset, NY and St. Anthony’s in South Huntington, NY. She had five grandchildren whom she adored. They are Corinne, Brad (Emily Hoban) and Brian Holroyd and Martin J. and Emily Brennan.
Her funeral mass will be held on Friday, September 15th at 9:30 AM in St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 777 W Hollis Street, Nashua. Interment will follow at 1 PM in New Hampshire State Veteran Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH.
