Sally Raymond Obituary

NASHUA- Sally Ann (Fairbanks) Raymond, 85, died peacefully with her children by her side on June 4, 2020, at Carlyle Place in Bedford. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Raymond who predeceased her in 2017.

Sally was born in St. Albans, Vermont on September 16, 1934, and was the daughter of the late Donald and Marjorie (Gould) Fairbanks.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a secretary for the Town of Merrimack, New Hampshire.

In her free time Sally enjoyed gardening. She was a fantastic cake decorator and was an active member of Gold’s Gym. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her family especially with her grandchildren who she loved deeply.

Sally is survived by her three sons, Alan Raymond of Merrimack, Gary Raymond and his wife Betty of Wilton, and Don Raymond of Wilton; her daughter, Cheryl Meier of Ventura, CA; her 10 grandchildren, and her 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Larry Fairbanks and his wife Diana of Selina, Kansas.

Sally was predeceased by her daughter, Kimberlee Pelkey on December 16, 2006 and her grandson Erik Raymond.

Due to current public health and safety concerns, funeral services for Sally will be limited to immediate family members and held privately. Her interment will take place in New Hampshire State Veteran Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
