Sandra Lee Mangekian

Sandra Lee (Demers) Mangekian, 60, of Fairlawn, VA died unexpectedly on April 21, 2021.

Sandra was born on February 15, 1961 in Florida and was a daughter of the late Maurice and Helen (Nester) Demers.

 Sandra was a dedicated employee working as a receptionist in the veterinary field for many years.

She will forever be remembered as an avid animal lover and a wonderful mother. She truly loved her children and her family, always treating even her children’s friends as family and her home was an open place to gather, rest, or celebrate. Sandra was also a selfless person and a dedicated daughter, she took care of her parents in their later years and helped them with whatever they needed.

Sandra is survived by her two children, Macy and Cory Mangekian; her brothers Michael Demers and his wife Margo and Ronald Demers; her aunts Cindy Demers, Ann Dickinson and Pat Nester; an uncle Estel Nester. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and several cousins; as well as her former husband Stephan Mangekian.

Relatives and friends are invited to Sandra’s WALK THORUGH visitation on FRIDAY, April 30th from 4 until 7 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. A Funeral Service will be held on SATURDAY, May 1st in the funeral home at 11:00 AM.  Private family burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sandra’s name to the Nashua Humane Society, 24 Ferry Road, Nashua, NH.
