Scott R. Messier, 61, died unexpectedly on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at St. Joseph Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Scott was born in Nashua, New Hampshire on October 7, 1964, and is the son of Denise (Lavoie) Messier of Nashua and the late Raymond Messier. He received his education in the Nashua School System and was a graduate of Nashua High School.

Scott dedicated his entire professional career to the automotive industry, working as a skilled automotive technician for many years. He spent a significant portion of his career at Romey's Auto, where he earned the respect of both coworkers and customers through his expertise, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality service. He later joined Peters Honda of Nashua, where he continued to share his knowledge and talents for many years until his retirement. Scott took great pride in his work and was known for his reliability, craftsmanship, and willingness to help others.

In his free time, Scott was an avid woodworker, a lifelong passion and trade he learned from his father at an early age. His talent and craftsmanship can be seen throughout his home, which is filled with beautiful pieces of furniture he created by hand. Following his retirement, he immersed himself in other hobbies, particularly his favorite pastime of converting cargo and catering vans into campers. Scott also loved to travel, especially to some of his favorite destinations, including Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; South Florida; and Nashville, Tennessee. He will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, and ability to make friends wherever he went. His willingness to help others left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Above all, Scott cherished time spent with his family, especially his beloved granddaughter, Morgan, who was truly the light of his world.

In addition to his mother, Denise, he is survived by his daughter, Angela Messier and her fiancé Greg Harris-Jones of Manchester; his granddaughter, Morgan

DiMare-Messier; his two siblings, Debbie Schonhaut of Nashua and Kevin Messier and his partner Jodie Lena Walsh of Tewksbury, MA. He is also survived by his nephews, Zach Messier, Josh Messier, and Jared Schonhaut; his former spouse, Lisa Adamonis of Myrtle Beach, SC; as well as numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family.

At the Messier family’s request, all services were held privately. A Celebration of Life will be held for all friends and family at Alpine Grove in Hollis NH on Saturday, July 11 at 10am. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Rochette Funeral Home.
