Sharon Elizabeth Pelletier, a lifelong resident of Nashua, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026, at the Crestwood Center in Milford. She was 79. Sharon was born on November 22, 1946, in Nashua, the daughter of the late William and Edna (LaPensee) Estes. She graduated from Nashua High School, Class of 1964.
Sharon was the beloved wife of the late Paul Pelletier, who passed in 2021. Together they shared 55 years of marriage, building a life centered on family, care, and devotion.
Sharon worked for many years as a customer service representative at PSNH, remaining there until illness forced her retirement. Prior to that, she worked at Bicentennial School as a “Lunch Lady” and Recess Monitor, where she was affectionately known by students as “Mom,” a title that reflected her nurturing spirit and natural caregiving heart.
She had a deep love for simple things in life. She loved shopping and had a remarkable talent for finding the perfect gift for anyone. Her weekly Wednesday shopping trips with her mother, daughters and later granddaughter were epic, and a cherished routine. She also enjoyed collecting knickknacks of all kinds, but owls were her lifelong favorites. Christmas was her favorite holiday, showcasing her Santa & Snowmen collections and gift giving powers. An avid reader, Sharon found comfort in books and, in recent years, discovered how relaxing coloring could be.
Above all else, Sharon loved her family. She especially adored her grandchildren and great-grandchild, and she took pride in caring for everyone around her, including her “fur babies”. She was a mother not only to her own children, but to anyone in need, an ultimate caregiver whose thoughtfulness and kindness touched countless lives. Sharon loved people, treasured time spent with friends and was known for always putting others first. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughters Lisa Pelletier of Nashua and Lori Ellis and her husband Damon of Merrimack; her grandchildren Elizabeth Krajci and her husband Spencer of Merrimack, and Kolby Ellis; her great grandson Eli Krajci; her brother in law Gerald Pelletier and his wife Linda of Nashua and lifelong friends Claudette Terrier and her husband Gill.
