Stella A. Duchesneau, 94, died peacefully on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at the Hunt Community. She was the beloved wife of the late Harvey O. Duchesneau who predeceased her on February 2, 2013.
Stella was born in Nashua on November 3, 1926, and was the daughter of the late Annie (Chaniewicz) and Frank Kurta. She was a graduate of Nashua High School.
For many years, she was employed as the Head Teller as Nashua Trust until her retirement.
In her free time, Stella enjoyed crafts including knitting and crocheting. She loved to watch movies and had a passion for traveling. She had taken many trips over the years with her husband, Harvey, to various destinations including Russia and Europe and countless cruises and her favorite trip was Alaska.
Stella is survived by her two nephews, Maurice Duchesneau of Arizona and Mark Lovejoy of Nashua; her extended family, Al Boucher and his wife Anne-Marie of Nashua; their children, Amanda Cormier and her husband David of Hudson and Steven Boucher and his wife Catilin of Hudson; and she thought of their children as her great grandchildren, Landon, Benjamin, Jackson, Blake and Brody. She is also survived by her dear friend, Kathy Forester of Nashua and her son, Charles of Bedford.
At the request of Stella, all services will be held privately. She will be interred in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stella’s name to The Hunt Community: Education Fund, 10 Allds Street, Nashua, NH 03060. Arrangements under the care of ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua.
