Stephen Wayne Fish

NASHUA- Stephen Wayne Fish SR, 65, died peacefully Friday, June 26, 2020, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He is the beloved husband of Germania (Vasques) Fish.

Stephen was born in Lebanon, NH on November 26, 1954 and was the son of the late Robert and Beatrice (Sunn) Fish.  

For many years, he was employed as a carpenter for various companies. In his younger years he worked for Vermont Clogg and Heals as a shoe repairer in White River Junction.  Split Ball Bearing in Lebanon NH for many years and Maple Leaf Construction Nashua NH.

In his free time, he absolutely cherished time with his family, his in-laws, close friends, and especially his grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. For many years, he enjoyed horseback riding on his horse, “Thunder”. He enjoyed building dune buggies, spending time in his garage woodworking, and early morning talks on the porch with his wife Germania.

In addition to his wife Germania, he is survived by eight children, Lisa Barton and her significant other Jason Holmes of Woodstock, VT; Jack Barton and his wife Ang of Grantham, NH; Stephen Fish Jr and his wife Audrey of Mississippi ; Heidi Fish and her significant other Charles Savage of Wilton, NH; Katrina Fish and her significant other Shawn Melanson of Nashua; Merlinna Navarro and her husband Domingo Flores of Nashua; Johan Ovalles of Nashua; and Francisco Fish of Nashua; twelve grandchildren, Travis, Jasmyn, Stephen III, Joseph, Allan, Emily, Justin, Alicia, Courtney, Teaghen, Vanessa, and Aubrey; as well as his great-grandchildren, Clayton ,Jamila, Jaxon and Jayce. He is also survived by his three siblings, Anthony Fish of Nashua, Judith Wun of Kentucky, and Margaret “Peggy” Robinson of Kentucky; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  

Stephen was predeceased by his sister Cheryl Horne and his brother Robert “Bobby” Fish Jr.  

Relatives and friends are invited to Stephen’s WALK THROUGH wake on SATURDAY, JULY 18, 2020 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua, NH. A Graveside Service will take place at Edgewood Cemetery in Nashua, NH immediately following Stephen’s wake. Donations may be made in Stephen’s name to the Cancer Center at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, 8 Prospect Street, Nashua, NH.
