Steven “Steve” Bouthillette, age 58, of Hudson, New Hampshire, passed away on January 16, 2023.

Steve was a thoughtful and hardworking man who pursued his education in electrical engineering before beginning his career at Raytheon. After years in the corporate world, he followed his independent spirit and founded his own construction company, where he took great pride in building and creating with his hands.

Outside of work, Steve found his greatest joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved spending time in Maine, where he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the peace of the outdoors. Above all, he cherished time with his family and the people closest to him.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Virginia (Ginny) Bouthillette; her children, Crystal and Lionel Farley; Sister in law Estelita Leach; and his cherished grandchild, Angelic Farley, who knew him lovingly as “Grandpa Steve.” He is also survived by his father, Lionel Bouthillette; his siblings and their spouses, Linda Bouthillette, Keith and Patricia Bouthillette, and Brian and Suzanne Bouthillette; as well as his nephews, Brendan and Patrick. Steve also leaves behind all his friends at Raytheon and his beloved fur companion, Savior.

He was predeceased by his mother, Joan Bouthillette, and by his uncle and best friend, Jeremy “Uncle Slug” Grenier. 

Steve will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his love of the outdoors, and the deep care he showed to those fortunate enough to know him. His presence will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

The family wishes to thank everyone who donated to honor Steve with a memorial bench at Benson Park.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 2 at 12pm at Benson Park, followed by a celebration of life at White Birch Catering, 222 Central Street, Hudson, NH.
