Tammie Potter, 65, of Nashua, NH died on Sunday, February 23rd after a courageous battle with her health.
Tammie was born in Hartford, CT to Sandra Hart and Karlton Potter.
In her early years, she was a Drum & Bugle kid, avidly loving anything music related. Throughout her years, she found immeasurable joy in dancing, attending concerts, and playing card games with her friends and family. She enjoyed hiking, swimming, camping, spending time at the beach, and her weekly bingo nights.
She is predeceased by her parents, but whom she leaves behind extends far beyond her children, her siblings, or her extended family. Tammie leaves behind a legacy of selflessness that serves as an everlasting example of humanity’s capacity for kindness. She cared deeply for animals, and nature. She gave her very last dollar to whoever needed it, on regular occasion. Moreso, she tirelessly devoted her life to her patients, retiring just recently after 35 years of service in the nursing home sector. She touched thousands of lives during her tenure, leaving an immeasurable impact on those who had the pleasure of knowing, and loving her.
A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, February 27th from 5-6:30pm at Nashua Bingo, 166 Daniel Webster Highway, Nashua, followed by bingo from 6:45-9:15pm for those who wish to stay and play “one last round” with Tammie.
In her honor, and in lieu of flowers, please consider doing something kind within your community. Volunteer at a nursing home or an animal shelter – or check in on a friend.
