NASHUA- Therese Isabelle (Turcotte) DuVarney, 102, died peacefully January 4, 2021, at Laurel Place in Hudson after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Ernest Adelard DuVarney Sr. with whom she shared 56 years of marriage.
Therese was born in Nashua, NH, on October 8, 1918. She was the daughter of the late Adelard and Helene (Antaya) Turcotte.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed at International Shoe and Doehla Greeting Cards.
In her free time, Therese enjoyed doing crafts and playing bingo and cribbage. She was also a proud communicant of St. Louis de Gonzague Church. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her family.
Therese is survived by her son Ernest A. DuVarney, Jr. and his wife Christiane of Nashua; her grandson Allen DuVarney of Merrimack, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her two brothers, Gerald and Norman Turcotte and her three sisters, Olivette Noel, Jeanne Lemay, and Estelle Laurendeau.
There are no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to Therese’s Funeral Mass on MONDAY, January 11th at 10 AM in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 W Hollis Street, Nashua. Burial will be private at the convenience of her family.
