Wilfred E. “Bill” Gagnon, 84, died peacefully on Saturday evening, June 5, 2021, at the Community Hospice House.
Bill is the beloved husband of Earlene (Nichols) Gagnon with whom he shared 61 years of marriage.
He was born in Nashua on June 9, 1936 and was the son of the late Wilfred E. Sr. and Lucille (Barber) Gagnon.
He proudly served his country during the Korean War in the United States Army until he was honorably discharged in 1957.
For 50 years, Bill was employed at The Bronze Craft Corporation starting in the shipping room and ultimately rising to Vice President of Manufacturing until his retirement in 2003. He was also a member of Rotary International chapters in Nashua and The Villages, FL.
Bill enjoyed spending time with family and friends and looked forward to his annual winter junket to the Villages in Florida. He was a lover of life. Always up for a round of golf, a good conversation and a good Martini!
In addition to his wife, Earlene, he is survived by his son Scott Gagnon and his wife Joan, Son-in-Law James Warren his four grandchildren, Zakery Warren, Payton Warren, Griffin Gagnon, and Davis Gagnon; as well as his great-grandchildren, Arya and Rand. He is also survived by his sister Patricia McCleod of Nashua as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Bill was predeceased by his daughter Sheri Lu Warren.
Relatives and friends are invited to Bill’s Funeral Mass on MONDAY, June 14th at 11:00 AM in Parish of the Resurrection Church, 449 Broad Street, Nashua. KINDLY MEET AT CHURCH. Interment and presentation of military honors will follow in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua.
