Yolande Marie L'Heureux

Born January 9, 1929, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2021, at age 92, at Nashua Crossings, Nashua NH. She is once again reunited with her beloved husband of 65 years, Edward Roger L’Heureux, who died on October 15, 2014.

Yolande was the daughter of the late Eugene Beachemin and Regina (Jutras) Beauchemin and grew up in the Bedford/Manchester, NH area.  She married Edward, eventually moving to Worcester MA, then Grafton MA in the 1960’s, and was a cherished and loving spouse and mother to her family.  After raising her children, she had several jobs, and most enjoyed her work in the Grafton MA Public School cafeteria.  She was devoted to her family and was always quick with bits of humor to lighten the moment.

In the early 1980s she and Edward moved to Deerfield Beach, FL, then later to Ormond Beach, FL. They returned to Nashua in 2012 to be with their family.

Yolande was predeceased by all of her ten siblings, Joseph Beauchemin; Jeanette and her husband Peter Tessier; Georgette and her husband Rene Duval; Leo Beauchemin; Rita Beauchemin; Lucille and her husband Maurice Peloquin; Rene Beauchemin and his wife Shirley (L’Heureux); and Lillian Beauchemin. (There were also two siblings who died in infancy or early childhood, a first Lucille and Roger.)

Yolande is survived by her five children, Richard R. L'Heureux and his wife Patricia (Burns) of Hyannis MA; Ronald R. L'Heureux and his wife Marlene (Mathieu) of Shrewsbury MA; Suzanne H. Pierce and her husband Dennis of Tuftonboro, NH; Robert E. L'Heureux and his wife Sandra (Trombowicz) of Millbury, MA; and Denise M. Canavan of Nashua, NH (and a special recognition of Denise’s recently deceased husband Mike Canavan who had been instrumental in Yolande’s care over the past several years and was there to greet her); seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to Ed & Yo’s visitation on SATURDAY, July 17 from 10 until 11:30 am at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her Funeral Service will follow in the Funeral Home at 11:30 AM. Interment will take place at a later date.
