Yun "Jenny" Zhou

Mrs. Yun "Jenny" Zhou of Hollis, NH, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, November 13th, 2023, after her nearly two years of brave battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Jie Zhang, and loving mother of Sarah and Sophia. Born in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, China on September 12th, 1977, she was the daughter of the late Anfen Xu. She is also survived by her father, Yueding Zhou, and her brother Tong Zhou, both of Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, China.

Jenny graduated from college with a Bachelor degree in Accounting in 2000. She was the Accounting Manager at Magneti Marelli Powertrain (Shanghai) before she immigrated to the United States with her family in 2011. After moving to the US, she dedicated herself to raising her children and taking care of the family.

When both her children were in school, Jenny went back to work as a tax professional at H&R Block. She liked her job because she could help people and get in touch with the real world. She also worked as the Treasurer for Chinese Culture Society of Greater Nashua (CCSGN) for helping the local Chinese community. She helped organize many events for CCSGN. The handcraft workshop she organized was always the most popular activity for kids.

Jenny was always positive and optimistic. Even after her diagnosis, she still insisted on achieving CPA certificate. She prepared and passed her last CPA subject test after her fourth cycle of chemotherapy, and just two days before her surgery.

Jenny loved cooking and baking for her family and friends. She also liked gardening. Dahlias, peonies and roses are her favorite flowers. She liked traveling with her family and friends, too. The travels she planned and organized left her family and friends unforgettable experiences and cherished memories.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 25th at Rochette Funeral Home & Cremation Services from 1 until 4 PM
