Christine Cummings

Christine (Chrissy) A. Cummings, Birmingham, 80, entered Heaven's gates June 1, 2017 at Leesburg Regional Medical Center in Leesburg, FL surrounded by her family.

Christine was born in Patten, ME on December 25, 1936 to the late Alfred and Velma Birmingham of Millinocket, ME.

In her early years, Christine attended Patten Academy of Christian Education in Patten, ME where she was an accomplished majorette. Upon graduating, she married her high school sweetheart Joseph H. Cummings.

She was a long time employee of Digital Equipment Corporation where she held many positions before retiring as a Telesales Manager. 
 

Christine will be forever cherished in her family's hearts for her being the devoted wife, mother and catholic that she was. She was most happy when she was with her loved ones, cooking her homemade meals with irish music and family laughter in the background. Christine will be lovingly remembered by her warm smile, generous heart and gracious spirit.

Christine is preceded in death by her loving husband Joseph H. Cummings of Nashua, NH, her sister Bea Sergeant of Millinocket, ME and her brother Bertram Birmingham of Millinocket, ME.

Christine is survived by her five children, Gregory J. Cummings of Millinocket, ME, Barbara L. Filonow of Nashua, NH, Stephen M. Cummings of Laconia, NH, Stacy A. Leach of Nashua, NH and Kevin P. Cummings of Palm Bay, FL. She is also survived by her beloved companion of 12 years, Ronald J. Snyder of Oxford, FL. She was the proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services celebrating the life of Christine A. Cummings will be held at 9:30 a.m., Friday, June 16, 2017 at St. Patrick's Parish, 29 Spring Street, Nashua, NH with a reception to follow.
