Eric Rochette

Eric Rochette

LFD, Owner/Funeral Director/Embalmer

Eric was born in Nashua and moved to Laconia, NH. In 1981, Eric and his family moved back to Nashua when his father, Paul Rochette, purchased the Anctil Funeral Home. Eric worked alongside his father for over 28 years and purchased the funeral home from his father in 2015. 

Eric attended Nashua High School and graduated in 1988. In 1991, he graduated from Mt. Ida College with an Associates of Science specializing in Funeral Service and received his Funeral Directors License later that year. Eric became a member of the NH State Board of Funeral Directors in 2015 which he currently serves on. He also was a NH State Representative from 2005-2009. 

For over 20 years, Eric umpired for Cal Ripken, AAU, and Babe Ruth baseball and umpired in Cooperstown, New York. 

Eric resides in Nashua with his wife, Deanna and their Moyen Poodle, Wilbur. He is an avid fan of all the New England teams but especially enjoys cheering on the Patriots and the Red Sox. In his spare time, he likes to travel with his wife and enjoys time with family and friends.  


Deanna (Brodeur) Rochette

Deanna (Brodeur) Rochette

Owner, Manager

Deanna is a native of Nashua. She attended Mt. St. Mary Seminary and then Rivier College where she graduated with a double major in Management and Marketing. She also worked in the field of Orthodontics for over 30 years where she received her Orthodontic Assistant Certification and Radiology Certification. 

For most of her career in Orthodontics, she worked in Nashua with Dr. Hugh Phillis and then later for Nashua Dentistry and Orthodontics for Children. In 2018, she retired from her profession to join the Rochette Funeral Home staff. She works alongside her husband, Eric, as the funeral home's Business Manager. 

Deanna currently resides in Nashua with her husband Eric and their Moyen Poodle, Wilbur. Wilbur loves to spend time at the funeral home and can usually be found lounging by the door waiting to greet everyone. Deanna enjoys traveling with her husband, any project that involves design/decorating, and spending time with her family and friends. 


Kallandra J. Nyhagen

Kallandra J. Nyhagen

LFD, Funeral Director/ Embalmer

Kallandra grew up in Lowell, Massachusetts. She graduated The Academy of Notre Dame in Tyngsboro in 2008 and she continued her education at Mount Ida College in Newton where she graduated with her bachelor's degree in Applied Sciences with specialization in Funeral Home Management.

 Kallandra began her Funeral Service career in 2010 working at funeral homes located in Massachusetts. She became a Massachusetts Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in 2016. In that same year, Kallandra decided to achieve her long time goal of becoming a New Hampshire Licensed Funeral Director and joined the Rochette Funeral Home family in November of 2016. Six months later she obtained her New Hampshire Funeral Director and Embalmer license.

 She now resides in Nashua and has a deep love for the city and is honored to call it her home. Kallandra enjoys time spent with her family, friends, and her husband, Phil and is an avid reader. She loves to travel to various destinations but finds herself visiting friends frequently in Louisiana.  She is most proud of being a part of the Rochette Funeral Home family, where she loves meeting and helping families and working in the field that she is most passionate about.


Spencer Bergeron

Executive Assistant

Spencer is a Nashua native. Born and raised in the city, he attended Broad Street Elementary, Elm Street Middle School, and graduated from Nashua High School North with the class of 2016. While at Nashua North, Spencer played for their baseball and basketball teams.

He continued his education and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and obtained a criminal justice certificate from UMASS Amherst with the class of 2020. While attending UMASS, he proudly pitched for their baseball team for five years while achieving A10 Commissioner’s honor roll.

For the 2018 and 2019 season, Spencer was a pitcher for the Nashua Silver Knights. He joined the coaching staff for the 2022 season, helping guide the Silver Knights to their 6th FCBL Championship.

Spencer joined the Rochette Funeral Home in 2019, working as an attendant during funeral services. After graduating from college, he became a full-time employee at the funeral home. Spencer is in the office daily greeting families, assisting our funeral directors, and facilitating details of every service. Spencer’s kind and caring personality is always evident, and he makes such a wonderful addition to our funeral home family.

In his free time, Spencer is an avid New England sports fan and you can strike up a conversation about any sports topic, however, the Boston Red Sox and baseball is his true passion. He loves to spend time with his girlfriend, Katie. They enjoy taking trips, hiking, playing scrabble, and trying any smoothie place or Mexican restaurant.


Isabella Rioux

Apprentice Funeral Director

Isabella is a native Nashuan.  She was a student at Sunset Heights, Elm Street Jr. High and graduated from Bishop Guertin High School Class of 2023.  We are very proud to say that she will be continuing her education at North Shore Community College for an associate degree in Funeral Services and has begun her apprenticeship to become a Licensed Funeral Director.

While attending high school, Bella was a goalie for Bishop Guertin’s field hockey team. She was also a member of the National Honor Society in her junior and senior year. Isabella began working part time at the funeral home in the Summer of 2022.  It was during this time that she grew to love helping families and developed her passion for funeral directing.  Isabella grew up in our funeral home family and is Deanna and Eric’s niece.  We are very excited to have her joining the family business.

In her free time, Isabella loves being able to spend time with her friends and family. She enjoys the outdoors, especially when she can be on the beach or a lake. Isabella is excited about the future she has in funeral service and can’t wait to continue her time at Rochette Funeral Home. 


Daniel Cronin

Funeral Assistant/Associate Administrator

Dan grew up in Tewksbury, MA and graduated from Austin Prep High School. He continued his education at North Shore Community College and in 1977 was hired by the Nashua Fire Department. Dan married the love of his life, Kathy, in 1982 and they have two beautiful children, Kaitlin and Ryan. After proudly serving on Nashua Fire Rescue for 35 years, he retired with the honorable rank of Deputy Chief.

Dan joined the Rochette Funeral Home Family in 2014. He continues to serve our families in the community and generously offers his time. Dan assists with funerals as well as helping our funeral directors when bringing loved ones into our care. He recently became an Associate Administrator and we love seeing him around the funeral home several times a week. Dan’s knowledge of funeral service combined with his warmth and kindness brings much comfort to the families we serve.

In his free time, Dan enjoys spending time with his family and friends in Maine. He especially loves taking walks with his dog, Bailey, along the ocean. He also enjoys leisurely bike rides taking in the scenery. Dan anxiously awaits for baseball season each year and has visited many Major League Ball Parks.


Gene Massa

Funeral Assistant

Gene grew up in Billerica, MA and graduated from Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, MA. He continued his education at Bridgeton Academy Post Grad in North Bridgeton, Maine. While at Central Catholic, Gene lettered in football, basketball and baseball.  After graduation, he pursued a career in football and played 17 years of semi pro football for the Marlboro Shamrocks where he won three Super Bowl Championship rings. During his semi pro career, Gene was invited to try out with the Dallas Cowboys, Tampa Bay Bucaneers and our own New England Patriots.  Gene proudly coached football at Bishop Guertin High School from 2010-2014. During his 2010-2011 seasons with the Cardinals he was part of the coaching staff that won back to back divisional championships.   

In 1994, he graduated from the Middlesex Sherrif’s Office Police Academy and worked in law enforcement for the past 29 years until his retirement in 2023 with the rank of Assistant Deputy Superintendent.

Gene joined the Rochette Funeral Home family in 2021.  Aspects of Gene’s responsibilities include taking your loved ones into our care and assisting with funerals.  If you have the opportunity to talk with Gene at a service, you will experience his kindness and dedication to the families we serve.

In his free time, Gene enjoys spending time playing golf at the Nashua Country Club where he has been a member for 35 years. He is an avid sports fan of all New England teams, however, never misses an opportunity to watch college football.  Gene also loves to spend time with family, friends and his two pups, Moxie and Bella.  


Wilbur Rochette

We are proud to welcome a new member to our family.  Wilbur was born on August 17, 2022 in Indiana and was brought home on November 23, 2022. He is a pure bred Moyen Poodle.

Wilbur is such a sweet boy and has amazed us with his skills and ability to learn commands.  He has attended and graduated from Hudson K9 in Nashua and Sit Means Sit in Londonderry.  His training will continue while he works on accomplishing his Canine Good Citizen certificate. 

He brings lots of love and snuggles to the families we serve. We hope he will help those that have lost a loved one by bringing some comfort during such a difficult time.

In his free time, Wilbur loves to play fetch, chase, and practice his obedience lessons.  And of course, he is always ready for lots of  belly rubs and treats. 


Wanda Rochette

2007-2022

It is with heavy hearts that we share Wanda received her wings on October 30, 2022.  We are so grateful for all the wonderful memories and the opportunity to have her in our lives.  Wanda left her paw print on many hearts of the families we served over the years, instinctively knowing who needed her gentle support and cute tail wags.

Wanda will be deeply missed by all who had the opportunity to know this very special member of the Rochette Funeral Home family.
