Evelyn G. (Jean) Lessard

NASHUA- Evelyn G. (Jean) Lessard, 87, died peacefully Tuesday evening, November 29, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospital. She was surrounded by her loving family. Evelyn is the beloved wife of J. Patrick Lessard with who she shared 69 years of marriage.

She was born in Nashua on July 3, 1929 and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Alexandria Jean.

Prior to her retirement, Evelyn was employed by BAE Systems as an Inventory Kitter and was also employed by JF McElwain as a folder in the stitching room for many years.

In her free time, she enjoyed watching the Red Sox and was an avid fan. Evelyn also loved crossword puzzles, reading and swimming. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family, especially with the love of her life, Patrick.

In addition to her husband, Evelyn is survived by her four children, Patrick Lessard and his wife Susan of Concord, Carmen Rioux and her husband Richard of Mont Vernon, Ann Ritter and her husband Phil of Nashua, and Jeffrey Lessard and his wife Phuong of Manchester; her four sisters, Noella Ouelette, Beatrice Gagnon, Claire Robert and her husband Roland, and Yvonne Ouelette. She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren, Patrick Lessard Jr., Lori Quinno, Joseph Lessard, Steven Lessard, Andrew Lessard, Christine MacDonald, Daniel Rioux, Christopher Ritter, Meredith Ritter, Jacqueline Lessard, and Jeffrey Lessard; as well as several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on FRIDAY, December 2nd from 4 until 7 PM at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua, NH. Her Funeral will be held on Saturday, December 3rd at 10 AM at St. Louis de Gonzague Church, Nashua. Interment to follow in St. Louis Cemetery.
