OBITUARY: VICTOR TARDIF

Victor Tardif, 76, of Hudson and formerly of Manchester, passed away peacefully on Wednesday April 1, 2015 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack.

Victor was born in St. Hermenegilde, Canada on September 18, 1938, a son of the late Jules and Delia (Charest) Tardif. He was the widow of Gisele L. (Charest) Tardif who passed away on January 23, 2015.

Prior to retirement, Victor worked for Sweeney Drywall. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers; Martial Tardif and Claude Tardif.

Victor is survived by:

Two daughters; Lucie Dumais and her husband Denis of Hudson, Linda Soto and her husband Jose of Manchester

Three grandchildren; Steven Dumais, Dominic Soto, Isabella Soto

Three step-grandchildren; Felicia Soto, Antonio Soto, Adrianna Soto

Eight sisters; Gisele Allen and her husband Maurice of Amherst, Gaetane Arnold and her husband Marcel of Milan NH, Carmelle Charest and her husband Gaston of Hereford Canada, Diane Tardif of Nashua, Berthe Dube and her husband Valmund of Nashua, Madeline Hudon and her husband Arthur of Merrimack, Ginette Arnold and her husband Robert of Milan NH, Francine Welliver and her husband Bob of Nashua

One brother; Etienne Tardif and his wife Donna of Nashua

Three sisters-in-law; Cecile Dion of Nashua, Pauline Ouellette and her husband Denis of Sherbrook Canada, Theresa Charest of Nashua

One brother-in-law, Robert Charest and his wife Pauline of Colebrook

Also several nieces, nephews and cousins

SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held on Monday April 6, 2015 in the Anctil-Rochette & Son Funeral Home, 21 Kinsley Street Nashua NH 03060, from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday April 7, 2015 in St. Louis de Gonzague Parish, 48 West Hollis Street Nashua NH, at 10 AM. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Nashua, 24 Ferry Rd., Nashua, NH 03064.
