Estelle was an inspiration to me. She was passionate about women's health care, helping women in under served areas get mammograms or much need prenatal care. I loved speaking to her about her new work adventures. She was strong, passionate, but always in a kind and loving manner. She sets an example of how we all should try to live, with love in our hearts and the courage to follow our dreams. I know that she is in heaven now, continuing her mission of love.

Most of my memories of Aunt Estelle are around visiting her in Virginia every summer as a kid. Aunt Estelle never failed to to welcome us and give of herself while we visited the beach, Kings Dominion and Bush Gardens. These were always cherished memories of a childhood spent with family.

Aunt Estelle, you will always be remember and you will be missed.

A TRADITIONAL FUNERAL BASKET was sent on November 29, 2016

The tide recedes but leaves behind bright seashells on the sand. The sun goes down, but gentle warmth still lingers on the land. The music stops, and yet it echoes on in sweet refrains.. For every joy that passes, something beautiful remains. Estelle will will always be there. Don & Donna Smith

Estelle was loving, laughing, just a joy to be with. Over the years she never lost touch with friends, family and acquaintances. We will miss her more than ever, but the memories will stay forever.
Our condolences, sympathy and loving thoughts are with Bill and all her family. A mass will be said for her in Atlanta, GA this Sunday.

I am sharing with our family in the loss of a loving sister and dear friend, Estelle. She and Bill have always been there for us and they have brought love and laughter to us all. Her recent visit to WA state to take part in Jen's birthday party was very special. I have so many memories of all the trips that we shared through the years. Estelle connected with a lot of people on a personal level and will be dearly missed by us all. Farwell my wonderful sis, may you rest in peace.

We lost a loving sister who regularly brought joy and happiness to the entire family. While we were in Arizona, She and Bill made the long drive from San Antonio to Chandler Arizona to share Christmas with our family not just once but several times.

She and Bill made their home available to her sisters and brothers to escape the winter weather and to share the history of San Antonio and of course the amusement parks that reside there.

She opened her home to Amy and treated her as a daughter. She and Bill were able to participate in the wedding of this fine young woman. We want Bill and Amy to know they will always remain a valued part of the family. If there is anything you need do not hesitate to reach out. I know all of the family feel your loss and wish there were a way we could change the situation. But know that she has gone to be with our Parents and the good lord will relieve all of her pain.

Nothing I can say will ease the pain... But know our family wishes you the best and hopes you will remain healthy and continue to live a long life. Please keep in touch with all of the people who care about you. Let them know how you are doing and let them help you!

Estelle believed that the best thing she could give to anyone was her time: and what a time we have had! She embraced life wholeheartedly. She packed so much into a visit I do not know where she found the energy. She celebrated our accomplishments and consoled our sorrows. Her happiness came from our smiles, our laughter and the joy she brought to our lives. Estelle, you have given me a lifetime of amazing memories and for that I will be forever grateful. Thank you for one more visit. Rest now; we will be forever comforted by your unending love.
