Wilfred A. Simard

NASHUA- Wilfred A. “Willy” Simard, 67, died peacefully, Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of the late Nancy (Wheeler) Simard.

Wilfred was born in Nashua on November 19, 1949 and was the son of the late Robert and Yvonne (Raymond) Simard. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

For many years, he was employed by Batesville Casket Co. as a sander.

Willy loved his family and truly enjoyed spending time with them. He also enjoyed photography.

He is survived by his son, Scott Simard of Nashua; his grandson Elijah Simard of Nashua; as well as his sister Ann Doucett of Pike, NH.

Willy was predeceased by his two brothers, Bob Simard and Richard Simard.

Relatives and friends are invited to his calling hours on Saturday, February 25th from 10 AM until Noon at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua, NH. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family. Donations may be made in Willy’s name to the Funeral Home to offset his funeral costs.
