We are so sorry that we could not make it up for Emily's service, but feel so blessed that we were able to see her and spend time with her before she left this world. We love her more than words can express and are so sad to see such a bright soul and amazing person gone. Our condolences, our love, and our prayers are with you all. Should you need anything at all, please don't hesitate to ask. Emily will be sorely missed....

Dear Patti and family--

Words are completely inadequate at a time like this, even when the loved one's span of years is great indeed. How much the less so in Emily's case. So I will eschew more cliches and confine myself simply to saying that you are in my thoughts and that if I can do anything at all, you need only ask.

Much love.

My dearly beloved friend "Patti" ..... I pray for the strength of God to watch over you and your family during this time. I pray that all of your tears will be bottled up by God for who truly understands all of this but Him. Emily had the sweetest most tender spirit that I know. I love her heart, always considering others before herself, and that is the same spirit that lives in you. I pray for the healing of your heart and the restoration of your spirit and soul. I won't be able to attend the service but I will most certainly be with you. Thank you soooooooooooooooooooo much for allowing soooooooooooo many of us to be a part of this journey of Emily's. It touched my soul and broke my spirit and released a flood of tears. I pray for you all as you care for her children and as you heal as a family. I asked God for the angels to accompany Emily on her journey to the other side, and I know He did just that.......... I pray great strength and great release as you get through this. Death truly is swallowed up in victory. Her mortal body is released and has taken on immortally... She is in pain no more. Cancer didn't win. She touched soooooooooo many lives... What a beautiful soul..... God bless your family..... I love you!
