My deepest condolences to Gloria's family. I've known Gloria since I was a child growing up on Steamboat Rd. in Great Neck. Those of us from Steamboat Rd. who remember her wish Gloria a peaceful journey back to the Lord, and to her family, much Love.

To Brett, Linda, Shea and the grands Brittany and Justice,

You have the Gathright, Scales and Thomas condolences. Oh what a friend Gloria has been to me and my family. I thank God for the angelic voice, humor and friendship that he allowed me to have with Gloria for over 30 years. I have and will miss my dear friend. I thank God for allowing to be apart of her and Brett lives over the past year. I will miss her smile and Linda Gathright where have your been, I have not seen you for 2 years, and I would reply you saw me last week. My heart is sad, but lifted because I know how full of life she was. She consistently spoke of how grateful she was for her son, who truly took care of her in every way. Although the Dr gave Gloria, 1-4 weeks, Brett you feed her nutritionally and God gave her another year. Thank You JESUS! , for we all were blessed by her strength. Gloria we love and you will be missed. I thank you for your support and friendship through the years my dear friend.

Gloria was a beautiful person inside and out. She had the voice of an angel...was often sought to sing the Lord's Prayer and when she sang it, you could feel the presence and power of the Holy Spirit fill the room.

She was a faithful member of the New Fellowship Baptist Church Gospel Choir for over 15 years and many were blessed by her ministry of song most notably, "All I Want is You, Lord", "Jesus Knows My Heart" May the peace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ rest with her family and all of us who knew and loved her.

We are so sorry to hear of Gloria's passing. As we recall the time that she spent as a member of NEP Ministries, we can remember her angelic voice as she served as a member of our church choir. Gloria was a very loving person and passionate about her faith. We extend our love and prayers to her family and loved ones as you go through the difficult days ahead.

To the Family:
It is with great sadness that I learn of the passing of Gloria Rover. I had the pleasure of working with Gloria, who served as my assistant while working at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). She was a wonderful and kind person with a great voice and a love for singing. She will be missed. May God continue to watch over the family during this transition. God bless you all!
